Trust in the LORD with all your heart, Lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. ~ Proverbs 3:5-6
One of my favorite proverbs... and you really created such a sweet illustration to exemplify the trusting heart of an innocent child. Delightful characters. Love the little touches, like the flower in here hair, the leaping frog and the wind blowing through her hair and grass.
Aaaaaaww Kate! I love your illustration. It transports me to a time when I was young an carefree! What a beautiful proverb. Faith heals a lot of things. Tsup!
Beautiful illustration!! I love all the sweet details and thoughtfulness of the piece. Such a beautiful proverb. Jack's comment summed it up so eloquently :)
kate, your Halloween prints and cards are wonderful. I also came here today to invite you to join us in the BBB Club - Beautiful Bald Babies Club. However, if you were not bad when you were a baby, that's okay too. Manon Doyle is in the club and so are many wonderful artists. I am finishing the new group illustration and I would love you to be in it.
I am happy and smiling as I have seen the little girl sitting in the woods. I can think of Children's books about nature because of this. This is a good story that you will learn. Is the proverbs that is mentioned, that trusting the Lord is the greatest thing that needs to follow, not just believe on what you have understood, He will guide us in every path we take.
she is so sweet, love her expression and her pose
