It wasn't easy deciding what to post for this Random Fact #5. But I decided to post drawings of my dad. You can see more childhood drawings by clicking the heading "Artwork From My Childhood" to the right of this blog.
Ah, great Dad drawings Kate! You really have been an artist all your life! I wouldn't be surprised if you were born with a crayon in your hand! I love that you post these because it really shows your love for art has always been a part of you. It's really neat to see.
ReplyDeletesuper cool.
ReplyDeleteYou have some really gorgeous artwork and photos on your blog!
ReplyDeleteWish my mother had saved my artwork. They have always been so supportive...haha.
So cool, Kate. Every time I question why Jenni and I have sealed plastic tubs our kids' artwork, I'll think of your post. :)
ReplyDeleteI think it's great you still have artwork from your childhood. And I must add, these are darling ;)
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday!
I am sure your parents were so very proud of your early work. The current work is exceptional as well.
ReplyDeleteI love your drawings! you are a super keeper!
ReplyDeleteWow Kate, how touching these are to see. They both have a joyous yet melancholy feel to me. Thanks as always for sharing.
ReplyDeleteYour daddy was five? :)
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures, seriously. Nothing's better than you kids' drawings of you. When I was in the army, I didn't have any kids- so the neighbor's drew pictures and sent them to me for me to put in my locker. It really made me smile.
Gracias Kate!!!
ReplyDeleteLot´s of thanks Kate! You have beautiful works here!! I love specially the ones made by pencils... really nice!
Nice to meet you,
See you! :)
You are so lucky your mother saved your artwork. It's such a joy to see children's art. They are the best.
ReplyDeleteWow, I am so impressed with such diverse work. I love your drawings and enjoyed reading your random facts. The comment about identical twins is very funny. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love them both...the collage is excellent!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kate, for your kind comments regarding my father. I noticed you're a chiropractic assistant. I'm studying myofascial release trigger point therapy. Wow, it does wonders for headaches, and other pains. I may not have go to back to my chiropractor again to have my neck put back in. Since I started working on myself, my headaches are gone. No more Tylenol.
ReplyDeleteI wanted to thank you for your comment on my "juggling" illo. I lol!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
um happy haha, they are so lovely ,Kathleen. I really love to be with this community !
