WOW Kate!!! This is just perfect! Love this illo... the softness of the lights and shadows... the tones... the technique... her.. everything is perfect! You are soo talented my friend :o)
Hey Kate, what a beautiful and warm drawing, and yes, I agree, tea for me too. I've been making it a habit to drink a few cups a day since the day after Christmas, rather than coffee. lately I've really enjoyed the Ginger Peach Green tea from Stash. Anyhow, hope you have a happy and prosperous new year!
Mmmm ... She looks mighty content. I love the sepia color. Hey K, I bought a tea set for myself for the New Year. Looks like I'll be drinking more tea too. 100% organic ... 100% de-lish!
Beautiful work! And thanks for the visit. I also empathized with your previous post about the trials of freelance. It seems to never let up, the clients that can't commit, the chasing the money down, but I wouldn't trade it for a staff job ever.
For me, it would be sweet tea from Savannah, Georgia. And that's it and that's the only thing I need. And this ashtray. And this paddle game, the ashtray and the paddle game and that's all I need. And this remote control. The ashtray, the paddle game, and the remote control, and that's all I need...
LOL!! imwithsully - you forgot this lamp. Don't you need your lamp? And Sully. Don't forget your dog Sully. You need the sweet tea, the ashtray, the paddle game, the remote control, the lamp and Sully!! And that's all you need. : ) Thanks, you made me laugh.
charming and relaxing, love that classic black n white touch :)

This is very beautiful illustration, very clean and clear. Like tea myself too. Thanks for commenting my piece. Yes, the collage does has the meaning to it - self image struggle of a teenage girl, 100% of her uncertainty.
This is so neat Kate!It is comforting and soothing to look at... like hot tea! (She needs to try some delicious House Of York Tea!) Seriously- your illustrations communicate so well!
Gorgeous illustration! Love the sepia tones as well. Really gets that cozy tea feeling across. I just finished a nice cup of Earl Grey with milk and honey myself. So got a doubley cozy feeling going.
What a beautiful illustration! I love the soft tones and yes, I agree that it's so soothing just looking at it. Tazo also makes a good decaf Lotus green tea - smells really good too! =)
