Illustration Friday - "Breezy"

I will be so happy when I feel warm breezes on my face again. Winter in Chicago is much too long.

  8. I'd better give my niece a head's up so she knows who the book is from! It's being mailed directly to her kids near Boston. I know they're going to love it!

  10. I FEEL that! Such a free feeling. I also love the way you put the pencil drawing too. I am trying to get better at watercolour, so I can kind of see here how it is a done. thanks!

  13. This is such a wonderful happy warm and breezy illustration! I totally am with you on being ready for spring... Chicago, New England... both places are way too cold in the winter! Let's hope it warms up soon:)

  24. kate your illustrations are so precious. I totally agree about warm breezes blowing on our faces in winter and cool breezes in the summer. How can we arrange that? I was saying at Bella's blog that you are one of the illustrators who has a signature style.
