I have been working on trying to create portfolio pieces that tell a story. These illustrations were based on the Illustration Friday theme "Tales & Legends" from 2 weeks ago. ReplyDeleteThank you for your nice comment on my blog. The gratitude I express everyday may seem corny to some but I swear it has changed my life and perspective. Not that I wasn't grateful before, I just notice so much more now. (And my daily illustrations have been life changing too, more so than the gratitude!)

A perfect accompaniment to the wee mermaid! You create such wonderfully whimsical characters, and I don't think I've ever met a starfish with as much personality as this one, hee hee.

Oh, the starfish is precious Kate (cuz it's the one with the flower!). I can just imagine the story being told here. Really beautiful, as always.
ReplyDeleteI feel like singing "Under the sea" from "The Little Mermaid"!!I know that these works aren't from "The little mermaid" but they are outstanding in giving the feeling of being underwater. What a wonderful job you did! Thanks for sharing with us!!!
