Oh, she's so beautiful Kate! I love the colors and the flow of the piece! The background really adds to the movement. It is definitely worth checking out the larger version. Such a wonderful feast for the eyes! I'm going back to stare some more. :) Just absolutely gorgeous!
What a wonderful illustration! I love the composition and concept. It's such a beautifully rendered piece - the colors are perfect! You are so inspirational!
This illustration makes me want to ditch work for the day and go diving! The colors are amazing and I really like the way her hands(appropriate for a mermaid) look a bit like little starfish. And yes, like Joan said, the movement throughout this piece is captivating. Not only does this piece make me want to go diving, it makes me want to drop what I'm doing, rush home and borrow my son's colored pencils and markers......... and play!
Hi Kate: I really like this illustration. Very vivid colors and solid composition. Thanks for your encouragement and warmth comments. Have a great weekend.
Sheepers, I loved the pencil sketch, and now this! It's just beautiful. I especially love the way the little green fishes are swimming through her lovely red hair.
