A few years ago, I began recycling my recyclables...
(The photos are definitely worth clicking to see 'em larger, IMO.)

Jelly jar is now a candle holder. And an iced tea bottle is now a pretty bud vase.

Drug store votives are dressed up and reused.

Your trash is my treasure.

Pretty, Kate! Your treasures can be mine . . . ;-D
ReplyDeleteBeautiful in every way. Your home must be an amazing collection of delightful things. These are truly lovely and with the candles inside they really show off the careful work you did to create something new out of something old.
ReplyDeletelove this idea!! These are beautiful! I think the vase is wonderful!
ReplyDeletethese are very pretty. I love mosaics
ReplyDeleteOh kate these are pretty. I remember we did similar projects in elementary school. Now I don't know why households do not do creative things like these. Perhaps because we have such a disposable society and most people no longer consider having a creative and productive hobby a part of a normal life.
ReplyDeleteWow! They are so beautiful in different colours and shapes!
ReplyDeleteBesides recycling, they can be made as a Christmas present too:)
good for you , I have been collecting my coffee tins hoping I can come up with something fabo for them some time.
