  2. YESSSSS!!!!!! Yes!!! Yes!! This is what I mean Kate!
Beautiful!!!! So beautiful Kate!! I love this so much.

First of all is stunning. The girls are adorable, look at their hair.. the pins add a wonderful detail. There is a strong sense of a story in this one that I really like. Also love how you captured the place and it has lots of details that I'm sure kids will love to see. And the shading... well, thats just magical! You are sooo good at that! Love it!!

Ok, I'll leave you for now.. I think you might be freaking out with all my emotions here.. :o)

  4. These keep getting better and better, Kate. I like the repetition of circle shapes throughout the composition and the soft tones.

  10. Glad to see you did another one in sepia. You do such a great job with it. This is so utterly adorable. The characters so sweet, the composition dead on and a cute little story to boot.

The fish's name is Gill, hee heee, that's pretty darn cute too!

  16. Yes! I can imagine this scene from a page of a children's book! The little details ... so precious (I think that is your signature). I love the way the balloons frame the two girls. I've noticed that while your drawings have a similar vein (i.e., consistent), they are all so different and really showcases your talent to capture characters in all kinds of situations. Have I told you lately how much I enjoy your sketches?! LOL
