
Sometimes I wish I were a mom. I am working on an assignment and one of the themes is motherhood. So I am drawing all of these moms holding and caressing their young children, and it creates a yearning inside of me. I wonder what the future will hold...?

I couldn't take my eyes off this one Kate. It left a little lump in my throat. It is such a powerful image, capturing the unique connection between mother and child and made all the more real with your wishes.

ReplyDeleteLove this drawing! Now if I only had that mommy figure! Mine went out the door when I had my kids and I have been chasing ever since! I cannot believe my oldest will turn 8 on Monday! Time flies. I have no doubt that if you wan to be a mommy you will!!
