"Butterfly Dance" ©Kathleen RietzI am actually working on a series (in my mind), and this is the first painting. Busy busy busy week, so I am not sure if it will only be a series of one! ; ) Is there such a thing?
I did not feel like writing tonite, but I stole some sleep time to paint a little.
I love that you bring your love of dance to your drawings and paintings. There is a movement to everything you do that keep it fresh and interesting. I imagine dancing with butterflies is a very fun thing to do.

ReplyDeleteVery cute! It's fun to see the backgrounds in different colors to each side of the girl - it adds a nice element to the piece you wouldn't expect. Great illustration!
