ReplyDeleteI do agree that it would be good to show the books i have illustrated instead of just mentioning them.. However, they are in a style I do not use anymore and want to stay away from. Any suggestions?

Hi Kate, the site looks great! I really like the new illustration page with the different sections, I think this works well. (I think it even loads more quickly than before, but that just might be me?)
ReplyDeleteI love the feature artwork on the front page and especially the process section. This is something I'd like to add to mine.
Oh, and 'Thirsty' looks great in colour!
There are a couple things that struck me: a clear sense of your style and the ease by which I could navigate through your website to get to what I "needed." One great improvement is when I first go to your site, BAM!, I can see your style in one complete image (I don't have to scroll down to see the rest of your front page). You did a great job in editing and as always I adore your whimsical style so I am glad you're featuring them. Great job Kate!

ReplyDeleteYour new look has all the elements of clean web design. It's easy to navigate, loads quickly, and gets the message across without a lot of visual clutter and wordiness (is that a word?).

I have to agree with the others, it's clean, it's easy to navigate and you don't have to fight to get to your wonderful content. Also really like your process page.
